Snoopy is a very special watch. When it's no longer available it will skyrocket. It's come down in value quite a bit in the last few months.
Only way you will kick yourself is if the bnlr gets discontinued. I'd wait till the new models are released before making a move.
I have both the blnr, and the snoopy. Would never trade either one, but that's me.

The Snoopy looks like production run is ending soon, but you're right. I'll wait until later this year to make a move after I see what the new models look like.

I wouldn’t trade any Rolex for an Omega, especially one with a dog on the dial. Kinda reminds me of a Mickey Mouse watch from the 80s

Dilemma.. Trade my BLNR for an Omega? Would you do this swap?

I mean, to each their own but….. absolutely not

I love omega but hell no.

I'd maybe trade straight for a 321 though. Maybe.

I have both (BLNR on Oyster). I do love Snoopy but wouldn't trade my BLNR for it. I'd trade the Bluesy.

Whats the secondary price for a 321? You would do a BLNR / 321 swap?

No. Never. This is a major mistake and a step in the wrong direction.

It is, which is why i'm having this dilemma in the first place. I know I have no shot at a snoopy without purchase history... but a BLNR i might be able to get again in the future if it isn't discontinued.

I love speedmasters but don't do this! Omega knows how to milk its cash cow, there will always be another snoopy to purchase q5-10 years. Keep your batgirl, reconsider a snoopy in the future.

Perhaps consider a regular 3861 or a vintage speedmaster?

Good insight. I'm traveling to Japan in a few months and the other option is to go purchase a preowned Speedy during the trip as an alternative.

In my opinion, the snoopy is unique. The BLNR really is not.

If you use the GMT function actively then I wouldn't make the trade but if you want a unique and somewhat rare watch, the snoopy is pretty cool.

Who cares how unique it is when it's so dumb? You really want a dog on the dial of your watch?

Right? I completely understand the historical reference, but a high end watch with a cartoon character on the face might as well be a $10 Walmart Micky Mouse watch. I'm a hard no on this deal.

According to you I guess.

Many owners would disagree and say that the history of the Silver Snoopy award is worthy on the brand chosen by NASA.
