BLNR or LV I or LV II ?

How would you rank the "betterness" or desirability of these 3 watches? Really not sure if I would rather have a Batman than one of the Starbucks...

Definite “better”. I’m not sure how would one be better than the other tbh…. Both are made of the same SS. Both have ceramic bezels, albeit different colours. The difference is the movement, but they are both 32xx. Different yes, better? That is subjective….

I assume by “LVI” and LVII” You are talking about 16610 LV and 126610 LV respectively.

The Starbucks is soul-less. Somehow it just doesn’t work. Kermit is fantastic. But hey, I’m just some biased guy on the Internet, even if I have owned almost every model ;)

Ok, "better" is misleading. I' m wondering which one is more special / sought after. That's subjective too but what's the general opinion?

Starbucks I / II by the way

I’m not sure which is ‘better’ - obviously two completely different models designed with different purposes in mind.

Colour wise all look great, I’d be more inclined to get the MK2 version of the two LVs, though that’s just my preference, and not necessarily because it’s better than the Mk1.

Bracelet might be a bigger point if consideration - all brushed oyster (least dressy), oyster with pcls or jubilee (most dressy) - all are good options so depends what you want out of the watch.

For me, the functionality of a 60 minute timer and the glide lock clasp make the sub more appealing than than the GMT. That being said, I still want both sub and GMT!

Had both - BLNR on jubilee is more unique.

Based on what I see on social media, I’d be inclined to say BLNR, as this is what I see most of... I don’t have anything scientific to back this up, so pure speculation.

What I would note is that whilst all models priced almost equal, the BLNR is currently traded for more on the secondary market here in the UK.

On the subject of the bracelet, the clasp size is also worth considering as it's significantly larger on the Sub

They’re both special on different days. Personally, I would go for the LV with the newer green bezel if I only had to pick one. The BLNR is nice, but when I think about a collection, I'd rather have the BLRO instead. I’m steering away from buying a BLRO until Rolex redesigns the case/bracelet to look more like the new Sub proportionally. I think it might happen this year

I’m a fan of the BLNR. The best one is the one that you prefer. Good luck with your selection.

As a former LV fanboy, I now prefer the BLNR. I even now prefer it to the modern BLRO too.

It’s a near perfect SS daily.

Well LV1 is an anniversary 5 digit submariner so there's that to consider.

I have owned all three watches and currently own the BLNR on jubilee and the newer LV MKII. I prefer the newer green. The LVI has more of a blue green compare to the newer bright green. Which would I own if I had to choose? Tough one but likely the BLNR as the color scheme goes better with what I like to wear. Can't go wrong with any of them. Only you know what you like best.

I say the BLNR. The bracelet doesn't have the glidelock, but it's a better taper imo. That, and on oyster it's the same price as the LV. I'd rather have an additional complication for the same price.

It's all depends on what you really prefer, but I would always go for BLNR.

BLNR easily. I think BLNR can be a great “one and some”. The LV is great, but think it works better in a collection.

Brushed oyster sealed the decision and went with the LV. Get the BLRO on jubilee to pair

Looks are subjective. Which one is better is most certainly not.

Very different watches to compare. I have had the BLNR on oyster and currently have the LV MK2.

BLNR - love the GMT aspect of the watch, and it was relatively rare when I got it in 2014. I fell out of love with it, over time, the PCL picked up a lot of scratches and whilst the blue and black was nice, I always preferred the BLRO colours (which now is in my collection).

LV MK 2 is great, love the brushed oyster bracelet and the green really pops. Can wear it with anything despite people saying they "need" to wear some green to match it...

Try on both and see what you prefer, good luck, you can't go wrong!
