Any Omega Gemini IV (3565.80) owners out there?

Ive been eyeballing this piece for a while now. I realize there are only 2000 pieces out there. Any owners out there and any pics or comments you have about the watch........

Hi there, I've only seen one on sale on Chrono24. It's a beautiful watch, extremely rare. However, if you can't find one either stateside or in your price range, don't pass up the Omega Speedmaster Professional Man on the Moon. It's also a superb watch and can be had for around $3350, brand new!

Yes, I know... it's simply amazing. The blue face and Tachometer bezel are truly beautiful. I've seen many for sale on different sites, but when you go to inquire, they've all been sold. Suggest you continue your search via Google. Good luck with your search.

It's amazing..arguably the best limited Speedy ever released IMO if I really think about it.. glad to have jumped on one when I had the chance....I know many Speedy collectors that feel the same way. Very dynamic dial in different lightning:

As a child, I got to see Ed White get off the plane in San Antonio on his homecoming visit after his historic space walk. I saw one of these watches on display in the San Jose', Costa Rica airport in '09. I did not own an Omega at that time, but thought it was an amazingly attractive watch. I now have both classic white on black, and black on white dialed Moonwatches. Some day, I could see a Gemini IV, and/or Apollo-Soyuz in my collection.

I love mine. If you buy one, make sure it comes with the proper blue bezel. I can't imagine the PITA of having to find a replacement.

Totally understand. That's part of the fun of this game, searching, searching and more searching! I wanted a Speed Master REDUCED to add to my collection. I found one in mint condition, at a superb price, after more than 6 months. Patience was definitely a virtue during the search. If I come across something else, I will surely let you know. I wish you much success, it's truly a superb watch! Good luck.

Just a beautiful reference. I purchased bnib NOS dial and bezel when they were still available from Ofrei (along with a Mitsukoshi one), but never got around to doing the mods. Maybe one day.

I still have mine, one of the biggest regret I have is back then, I had to choose between this Gemini and the 35th Anv Apollo 11 and the lady at the AD told me to buy both, I didn't buy the 35th Anv Ed because I thought they're pretty much the same watch with different dial and case back. Each of them only cost $2600 out of the door!!!

Still feel bad about that today :)
