Ferrari and Patek

I'm kind of curious about the relationship between Ferrari and Patek. I was at the AD the other day getting familiar with setting the moon phase and the technician was telling me how Ferrari and Patek were discussing creating a watch for Ferrari but the negotiations fell through.
He was saying that normally sub-dials are in the 3,6,9 position but Ferrari wanted the dials to look like their dashboard. So, Patek designed the Nautilus 5712 to Ferrari's request. Then things went south and their relationship soured. Since PP had the movement they decided to sell the 5712. Now I have absolutely no proof of this and neither did the technician but the dash of my 360 does look like the sub-dials of the 5712. Can any of you confirm whether this is true?

Not the 5712, but the 6000g that was the "Ferrari Patek" that never was ...

I dont believe it. AP does this. Panarai does this. Hublot does this.

Not Patek.

I own a 488 GTB and while I love my Ferrari- its not a Patek.

29000 miles? Where do you drive, down the street and back into the garage?

Assuming his car is a 2005, the last year of the 360 Modena production, that means he drives 2417 miles a year. So basically about 7 gas tank fill ups, depending on how hard he drives his car and the mpg.

Most people with a Ferrari do not commute to the city 30 miles each way. I'm guessing they are mostly weekend cars.

Actually that pic was from last year. I have about 33k now. And it's considered a driver. Garage queens are under 5k.

I think 29k is a good number for a 360. But hey what do I know
