A very nice fly in the ointment...
I went to the watch district in NYC today trying to seek out a YG GMT Green face. Was surprised at just how many of them (both used and new) to be found in need of a loving home. Then the problem... A friendly dealer showed me the YG Daytona blue face. Hadn't seen or heard much about this piece. Very sharp!
So now I am conflicted. I know it is a matter of taste but I humbly ask for your comparative opinions on the two alternatives. Thanks in advance. |

I'm not one to follow watch trends, but the forest green dial on gold does seems somewhat dated to me. 1980s. Might be why the market is full of them.

Gold GMT with Green dial is certainly among one of my favorites and gets my vote. Both are great looking watches... hence, your dilemma!

In YG, I would go with the GMT. One of the best, IMO.

In YG I prefer a ceramic bezel to tone it down a little bit so the GMT.

Thanks for all the feedback. Now if I can only figure out how to post a photo I will display the result. Thanks again.

IMHO the answer to these questions is always GMT.
