Hoping to join this club soon. Got my eye on a 16613 circa 1999, has been serviced by Rolex about a year ago and not worn since.

Do the lugs look over polished?

After having sold my Breitling SOH with blue dial I just had to have a new watch with a blue dial. Like the Rolex fan I am a 116613 bluesy was an obvious choice.
At least until I can afford the 116618 LB😉

I LOVE this watch! It is beautiful! The dial is mesmerizing! Wear it with a swimsuit or a tux...and everything in between...

The perfect watch for me! I have owned both the 16613 and the 116613, and prefer the 6 digit version.

New Blue

After 12 flawless years owning a 1999 16610, I purchased a well-loved 16613 Z serial to add to the collection. This one was obviously well cared for and included the box and original paperwork. What an exciting day!

Gorgeous Bluesy, still new to having mine on the wrist, love it along with my 116520 Daytona. I'm a big Chrono fan, so the 16613lb is my first with a date, and I find myself sitting here waiting again to watch the date flip....congrats, you picked a beauty!

Bought one, sold it. Bought another one and sold it to a dear friend as he wanted on and they are hard to get at the moment. Found one two days ago (good to have connections in the grey branche ;-)) and bought it again. This one will never leave!

My new bluesy which i bought last week. I really love how the sunburst blue dial and the ceramic bezel shine in the sun.

Congratulations on the 116613lb, I still get a kick out of the fact that it's a Submariner, a dive watch, waterproof to 1,000ft, mind boggling, yet looks as mesmerizing as it does.

A friend asked about mine the other day, when I then showed the divers extension on the bracelet, jawdrop moment ensued, as well as when told, "waterproof" not "water resistant", and showed the triplock crown and explained the "tool watch" concept.

Think a convert was made, I left the piece about having to stand in line for a year and maybe be lucky to get on a "list" if he wants one though.....

Bluesy and Pappy

What bourbon or whiskey do you pair with your bluesy?

Just recently entered into the club (after staring at this reference for years) and decided to christen the occasion with close ups before it accompanies me on my life journey (and is no longer pristine). Honored to be here!
