Just got myself a BLNR last week from AD- Love it! I've always been a TT guy and never a GMT fan, but here I am, starting at my BLNR.

This should probably go to the Vintage thread but I guess here is just as appropriate.

My most recent purchase from last week, a 1983 16753 "Root Beer" ... would have preferred the later variant with larger markers but this "nipple-dial" one will do for now.

Added this to my collection today. Great GMT Master 1675, 4-mil serial. Beautiful example with gorgeous tritium dial and hands, nice patina and great lugs. Thank you, Springer.

The OFFICIAL GMT Master and GMT Master II Owner's Thread

Purchased back in 2012, but realized today that I never shared.

White gold is nice, but 3 times the price and has the 3186 movement instead of the new 3285. With the red and blue bezel, the black dial stands out nicely.

So, greetings gents!

I just bought a GMT II, and I've always liked the "original" version of the ceramic bezel so I got that one, the 116710LN version. However, these days it seems I don't see it at all... is it the "non-preferred" version? Interesting that I just never see it discussed much.

There's not really that much to say, is there? There's not a ton of discussion about the 116610LN either. It's the old reliable option and doesn't draw the drama that BLNR and BLRO do. Chalk it up as a good thing and just enjoy your watch.

I love the green hand and font. Keep it and love it! I have a BLNR, but anything with Rolex green on it is a keeper in my book.

Although I adore the 16710 I was really looking forward for the SS Pepsi GMT release. Finally it is here but when I compare it to the Tudor BB (I think they nailed it with that one!) I much prefer the Tudor GMT than the new Rolex release. Anyone feels the same way?

For those of you lucky enough to have recently purchased a GMT BLNR from a AD how long was your wait? As you can guess I'm still playing the wait game.

Sorry, Rolex. Not interested in the 2018 GMT2 BLRO. My 16710 will be staying on my wrist for the foreseeable future.
