My small collection. What should be next?

Here is my collection so far (I apologize for the bad photo and glare, I'm an economist, not a photographer). The 3570.50 and the BLNR get 95% of the wrist time right now, but they all get a little love. They are in order from newest to oldest. The Carrera was a gift from my parents and was what I wore when I defended my Ph.D. thesis. I know Tag doesn't get a lot of respect at times, but this one means more to me than any of the rest. I wanted something a little more rugged so I picked up the the Hamilton and couldn't resist the Sistem 51 for $150. The 3570.50 was a gift to myself about a year and a half ago and the BLNR came into the family about 3 weeks ago. I thought I could resist, but I am already looking for the next one.

I'm leaning heavily towards a 2-line 14060 but really liked the look and feel of the PAM 574. I'm an Omega fan as well and like the Seamaster 300s and Aqua Terras. I know this is a Rolex forum and there are a lot of Sub fans, but has anyone else had any experience with the PAM or Omega? Did you choose one of those over the 14060?

If you didnt want a SubC or SubCNoDate, the Omega Seamaster 300 master co-axial is a nice alternative

loving the diversity, for me all the best collections have that at their core. Your on a rolex forum so I suspect you will see a lot of fan boy comments, ultimately however you should get what you want but my suggestion is that with so many other brands out there you shouldn't pigeon hole yourself into another rolex.

Look up the watch collection 1 photo thread for inspiration

I would suggest either a white face daytona or an explorer ii polar. I see all black dials in your collection. Or, if that's what you prefer, i'd add a panerai to that. I just added a pam 111 to go with my subC recently and I love the diversity that it adds to my now modest 2 watch collection.

As far as omega goes, my best friend has a seamaster 300 pro blue face and it's a great watch, but in my opinion, you already have the best omega you can get. If choosing between that and the 2 line 14060, i'd choose the latter.

All that being said, these are suggestions, you have to get what you love at the end of the day. Goodluck :).

Nice collection. The carrera is a good looking watch, clean & simple

14060 is my favorite watch but personally I think it's too close to a gmt to be in a small collection.

Of the other choices you mentioned, I would choose panerai specifically a 000 or 111, either of these 2 models will hold their value fairly well and are classic examples of the brand.

I would look at the Polar Explorer II. Great watch and gives you a different look in the collection. Panerai's are nice but make sure you buy right as the market is tight on sells and trades.

I recommend Omega Planet Ocean. The 3rd generation looks stunning. Also have a look at IWC, they make some nice watches even though I don't like their current Aquatimer, it used to be much nicer before.

Personally, considering you have a BLNR, I'd skip the Sub. Too redundant.

Shop around and try a few on. The right one will rise above the others. Personally, I would say add some color. Maybe the Hulk or two tone bluesy. It's worth a visit to the AD to try a few on.

My vote would be one of these two. Then you've got the dream team of dive, GMT, chronograph. Plus your other watches that are meaningful to you...and nothing wrong with that.

Looking to add an LVc myself somewhere down the road. And...great to see a fellow KY member! My wife and I love Bowling Green.

2nd vote for a white explorer 2. The older models sell at god prices.

I have a PO and would highly recommend it. IWC is great too but I'd be looking at their pilot watches. Either of those would add a great dimension to your current collection.

The Polar Explorer II was on the short list before I decided to buy new. I like the white dial since I currently have all black. With Panerai, I knew I needed to love it forever or be ready to take hit when/if I flip it.

I looked at the 114060 before getting the BLNR and didn't' fall in love, but tried on the LVc and was shocked at how awesome it looked on the wrist. If I go Rolex for the next one, it will probably be a 5 digit reference.

I spent 4 years in Lexington while I was in grad school at UK. I really enjoyed my time there. I'll be in Lexington on Friday for a conference but I have to get back to Bowling Green right after.

Love my PAM 372. Nice watches very easy to switch up the straps. Good luck with your decision.

As an owner of a PO and an IWC Pilot watch, I'd suggest the 14060m over either. It's classic in a way that no PO or modern IWC is.

Go diverse - get a Zenith. They have come out with a lot of new references in the last 6 months. Some great, some not so great. They just released this yesterday...

Here it is... (Or get a El Primero Tri-Color dial - that would jump off the page with your collection which is a little monochromatic.)

That's what I was thinking! OP needs a white dial piece.
