Incoming Tudor!

Hi all - picked up a date day 76214 today. Love the size, the dial and the bezel. Most of all, I did not have a white watch so that gap has been plugged.

Is a full set from 2013 originating in Hong Kong. Very pleased with it and makes a good addition to the collection. Have something for most occasions now in 36, 38, 40 and 42!

And a family photo....

Cheers,
Steve

Yes, I saw them and it got me interested. There don’t seem to be too many for sale, so am very pleased to have picked this up.

Congrats on your Tudor and growing collection, looks very versatile, covering all situations. Perhaps Panerai next?

Thank you. Yes, the RM has become my go to watch. In truth, I love each one of them. The biggest issue is deciding which one to wear (first world problem I know....)

Sure is. I was contemplating an older 36mm datejust, but when I saw this at half the price it seemed a no brainer. Very pleased with it so far!

I think they do some great stuff. Not all of it is for me, but I’m pleased to have one again as flipped a pelagos and black bay in the past. This fits a gap in my collection at not too bad a price, so suspect it will be here for the long haul

Thanks for that. Never say never, but 42 is right at my limit for a watch. My wrists are not flat, so while approx 7.25in, lugs tend to overhang once watches get too big, and I have discovered I like the more classic look. Is a pity as I love the look of the panerais and my friend has one which looks awesome. I just don’t think they suit me.

Having said that, I thought my 38 was small when I got it and I never thought I would wear (or like) a 36 so there is always scope for changing tastes

Very nice! I like these later-model Day + Dates. I wish they had kept making the Jumbo version, the 36mm just looks too small on my wrist.

Thanks guys. Yes, it is quite small but it’s amazing how quick your eyes change. Doesn’t feel too small at all for me. Maybe give another try at some point. Definitely one of the better day date alternatives but I like it in its own right. I guess it didn’t make sense for Tudor to make any more given they were trying to forge their own brand identity.
