The watch takes pride of place on my left wrist. I wear bracelets from time to time on the right.

Thought about a leather bracelet for a moment then felt it wouldn’t fit my personality and profession.
If you like it go for it but I suggest if you’re going to have a metal bracelet not to wear it on the same wrist as your watch

Watch only for me but whatever floats your boat!
I know I've seen many pictures over the years of guys sporting bracelets with their watches so you should get some posters along who favour them.

I wear quite a bit of Y/G Jewellely always have. Yes I wear a gold ID bracelet but not on the same wrist, as was pointed out it would cause a lot of scratching to the Watch

Proof that bracelets (and diamonds) only belong on ladies.

Correct ...if you must , never on the same wrist.

this. When you wear these trendy bracelets, they often take away from the watch. But, it could still be a pretty cool fashion statement once in a while.

They say the only jewelry a man should have on other than a watch is a wedding ring. I agree to a certain degree, especially when you want to keep things classy.

As a successful practicing physician, at a brunch or a bar, there is nothing wrong with you in a SS sportswatch, trendy white v neck, designer wallet on the table, nice fitted jeans, and a black leather bracelet wrapped a few times around your other wrist, just hanging out, IMO. Not all the time, but once in a blue moon wouldn't hurt

Not so quick. I have seen many pics on TRF with bracelets, so if you consider bracelets the ultimate sign of fashion, you can still find it on TRF. BTW, if you look closely and you will probably notice this once you spend little bit more time on TRF, you will see many designer shirts, shoes, etc.

I wear Miansai bracelets sometimes on my opposite hand. I like leather bracelets from Montblanc or Tiffany, but living in hot climate I rather turn to other materials.

I'm sure your swagger is on "hundred thousand trillian"

Also some may construe your comment as quite offensive. I would say the overwhelming majority of TRFers have swag, but many styles and preferences may not be in line w yours or mine. A person who is really successful, who is a purist , who would never wear a bracelet and who finds it repulsive when he or she sees a custom bussdown/flooded timepiece, still may have a lot of swag in his own right.

Just thought I would share that, and I hope you agree with everything I said.

I ordered the Cartier love bracelet. I'll have it this week, and I'll wear it on my other wrist so I wont mark up my watch and my bracelet

Hahaha not sure what being a successful practicing physician has to do with the rest of that comment. "designer wallet on the table" screams of trying too hard for me.

Every time i see these bracelets/bangles on IG alongside a watch i can imagine the poster taking the picture for that purpose only then carefully removing them so as not to scratch the watch. I have never seen anyone out in the wild with this look.

That means do what your heart desires. Arent you a doctor noting that it doesn't fall in line with your profession?

And 400 to 600 dollar wallet is trying too hard? Don't you think the same false reasoning can be applied to buying a Luxory watch ? Or the multiple watches that you have acquired in such a fairly short time?
