JJ was a person who enjoyed the companionship of his fellow Rolex owners. Although I did not personally know him, I enjoy his posts. May he enjoy his voyage into the next world. He is probably enjoying his Rolex collection with a great brew.

For JJ, there was nothing but the bright side. More people in this world need to be like that man. He loved his family more than anything and his friends here too. Rolex watches brought him here, but he gave many people much much more than watch passion.

If I need friends, I need look no further than TRF!!

I always looked forward to reading his posts. Sometimes advice, sometimes opinion, and always funny.

He left his mark on a bunch of fellow watch lovers.

Read these posts and you see what a rich, significant and meaningful life JJ had. It's not really about how much money or posessions we have - or how powerful our job is - its really about how much you are respected, admired and loved by friends and family.
JJ is a rich man...

Even as a newbie I could tell what a joyful and respected presence JJ shared here with his watch friends. It was easy to see his humor and charm, and most remarkably his bravery in the face of dire circumstances. Love and respect--he gave it, he earned it, he received it, and he always will.

It's a great loss for the TRF and the rest of the watch community without JJ. I had the great pleasure of PM with JJ a few times and he was always a pleasant man to communicate with. He was funny and lovable. There is no one other than JJ who has been "featured" in as many threads and in as many cartoons as JJ and he takes all with pride and comes back with great sense of humor. I will miss him greatly.

This is a very sad day. JJ was always willing to engage many of us newbies when we were first getting into Rolexes. he helped make TRF the great forum that it is. I never knew him but I feel like I did. He will be sadly missed and my condolences to his family.

RIP JJ

Wow, what can you say about JJ? He was the man of the hour, the man with the power, too sweet to be sour!

I will always remember him getting on me for high jacking a thread or two.....

Hard to believe he is gone. This along with a few other things that have gone on in my life this year has made me realize you should enjoy everyday of your life and make the best of it because you never know when it's time to be called home.

I'll see you in the big GTG in the sky someday!

He was filled with passion and compassion and had a wonderful sense of humor.

I never though it would be like this, because I would only think positive thoughts.
(I thought he would beat it.)

Peace to you, his family.

Haven't posted here in a while. I visit from time to time though and I was shocked to see this banner.

When I joined, I was very misunderstood with my opening threads. I even got in trouble. JJ was one of the few that didn't misunderstand my intentions and was very patient and warned that my questions were tired and could be construed as trolling.

He was always willing to give advice and, as stated above, ALWAYS willing to be the butt of the joke so others can have a laugh. The world needs more people like JJ. People that don't take things to heart. Always willing to laugh. Very patient with the new members and usually one of the first to give the welcome on behalf of the forum. I am sure most of you know he was one of the first to welcome you.

Today we lost a great person on this forum and more importantly, his family lost the man that always was so proud of them and shared many moments of their lives with us here.

You will be missed but NEVER forgotten. Whatever you believe that happens after death is your own business, I just hope JJ gets what he believed would be the best for wonderful people like him.
