$480.00 Vintage Rolex Antique Store Find!

I was out at a shop today and the owner mentioned there was a case with some Vintage Rolex Memorabilia I may be interested in.

So I went to check it out!

This is what I found

If anyone needs this ultra rare piece, I'll pick it up for you and only charge you a 10% finders fee....

The antique shop owner asked me if I thought it was a fair price...

And yes, I told her they can be had on Ebay for a few bucks.

I still found the entire thing funny.

Did you look closely? Very likely, it could have been carved out of a block of platinum!

know a bargain when you see it..???

Ok, Bucherer still give the Rolex spoons away free in their stores...

But have you seen the price of a return flight to Switzerland and dinner, bed and breakfast in the land of the Suisses!!

But the tag says, "Very Rare" so it must be worth it!

Actually, you can buy a very nice vintage 30s -40s manual Rolex for that price. The autos tend to be pricier.

Glad you can all understand my dismay. I was all prepped to stumble into some vintage goodness and was shown this ..bleh

On the upside I picked up some great vintage fountain pens while I was there
