Icon14 There's a whole lot o' Panerai history in here...

I just had to put these books down long enough to say thanks to Lu and Loris for their amazing compilation of Panerai's history, from vintage to pre-V. The photography is fantastic and I am very much looking forward to reading the books and carefully enjoying each photo from front to back. Last but not least, talk about the "presentation" - I'll allow my photos* to expand on that...! I have 233/1500 of this limited edition, I'll let you figure out why
*There's also a DVD video included with interviews not pictured - time to break out the popcorn!

Err.. this thing's way too heavy for all but the strongest of coffee-tables... (7Kg according to FedEX... ). No, but you're quite right! Along with my copy of Ralf & Volker's Panerai References*, I do believe I'm set when it comes to printed Panerai literature...

Well that would make the book-set a killer bargain, wouldn't it But nooo, I think not. Be prepared to barter ~2 of your finer straps in trade for this knowledge, young Padawan...

I finally got around to watch the video and I was pleasantly surprised to see a few familiar names...

But here's the best part yet; the authors are going to present the book in Firenze next week and most on the above list (heck, even Mrs. Panerai), will be there...

...and so will I

Damn, these guys went all out...

...at the end of each major section of the Pre-V book, there's a so-called QR (Quick Response) code which in turn downloads a pertinent section of the DVD video that was included with the set...

How cool is that!!!

Give it a try...

Quite the collection of books! Very nice. Pretty soon there'll be no room for actual coffee on your table. ;-)

That is a beautiful set of books. I just got the new one that was put out by Panerai. Haven't had a chance to go through it yet.

I had to bring this one back to the top again, after having again the pleasure of running into Lu & Loris (the authors) at this year's P-Day 2019 Amsterdam

Great guys, great book-set! Highly recommended to any and all Paneristi
