Day 2

Wow..... the view of my collection has changed a bit now. We will see how much other pieces sit now because this one has 100% gained top spot for now. Amazing.

Very nice congrats. It's tough keeping a 5711 or 5712 off the wrist everyday.

I have the 5711 in white, 5164a and now this. Problem I foresee now is wearing the AP's...... especially the blue one.... 15300. Eek!

No, I think we did 3 links and its about identical in fit to my 5711. Little snug but will move if I need to. Perfect for me.

The 5712 was the main reason for letting go of the blue 15300 for me...

Now you know....

Yeah, it’s a collection killer. One of my favs. I’m waiting on 5711w that’s taking so long. I’m getting bored. Seems like a bunch of sports are coming in now so we will see

Yeah.... I am almost there but we will see. I highly doubt its going to be worn often but I might regret selling it.

I am starting to head in that direction, which is crazy because at one point I had 5 of them. Down to 2 and I can see the 15300 moving, which I never thought I would do.

It’s a magnificent watch. The lack of symmetry is growing on me. Right now I’m enjoying my first Patek (blue 5711) oh so much. I finally get what all the fuss is about!

A really great PP trio there, I usually don't look back but I'm starting to regret not picking up a 5712 when they were easy at retail, which ironically then was too high for its functions, same with the 64, but I got on that train at least before it left the station. No sports Patek since then that I really want more.

5712 really is something special. I've had mine for 9 months and it's a collection killer. I've bought 116519LN, BLNR and BLRO in the last 2 months from my AD and while I love them all, they all live in the shadow of the 5712. I'm not even sure I like the sum of them even more than the 5712. I used to have only AP, now no APs and I don't miss them at all.

I've been wearing mine more seldomly in rotation with the skyrocketing prices, but it keeps calling my name every few days from the bank safe to be taken out and enjoyed.
