Made an inquiry over the 5726, was told those on the list already would be transferred over, so with the whales as well, I don't think I have a serious chance for ages. I like the watch but not enough to wait very long, the blue colour will be critical, is it the 11 or 40?

Can i ask what AD please? If need be you can DM Thanks
I find it strange they would transfer over people when they wanted a white /grey dial and this is blue.

No love for the 5231? The previous version was unobtainable and I actually prefer it now the name isn’t engraved. Or is no one bothered because it won’t be sent to stores

I like a lot of them but sadly won't be getting any.

I really like the 5172G with blue dial and the 5212A Calatrava is quite interesting too.

The shade of green in the Aquanaut video and actual photos is quite nice too I think.

I’ve zero interest.

Might be though because I’m so happy with what Ive got.

And sure, I might be biased, but I think the 5726 in blue is weak. At best. Just another watch lost in the sea of blue dials.

They “discontinued” a watch only to release the exact same thing with a different color dial? How lazy can you get? And everywhere I look it’s blue dials. Every brand out there is looking to capitalize on the blue dial gold rush.

Meh. At best.

I though the PP releases were mostly uninspired.

I probably will only buy the 5212a, I’ve realized I only like the 5712a and 11r so my excitement around the 26 aint that high. I still dont like the date windows. I like how they blended the sublial blue tho... 5726 no longer on my list of things i really care about. I prefer the white...and i didnt like the white all that much lol

Did anyone read if the 5172g movement was upgraded?

My initial reaction was that this may be a smart move to divert some pressure off of the 5711 and 5712 w/o having to reinvent the wheel but I got some flak immediately... Prob I was just hoping that the waitlist on the 5712 might slightly come down.

Not interested in getting the 5726.

Don't take it too literally, I'm not in much contact with this AD so I assume a lot of it is boilerplate to keep expectations low.

But, but, what about those incredibly new innovative movements just announced. Elimination of old-school pushers for an incredibly modern way to adjust things. Plus look at all that extra hand-work on the movements via elimination of large 'lazy' bridges for more (smaller) bridges with lovely decoration to better show off the hand decoration of the plate, etc. Plus Patek now has the day/date/etc windows perfectly match the dial.

Wait, you mean Patek doesn't do any of that with the new timepieces?

Nevermind.

I can see where you're coming from as the 26 was the one model that seemed to offer something different here, but this will only help resale prices of all 26s so still good news for you.

There is no movement upgrade for the 5172G, they have used the same CH 29-535 PS

Lots of great pieces, but nothing that I will ask for... There are watches in the last 15 years that I still like better. (5110p, 5170)

Love the idea of the 5520P alarm...but not that price tag.

Basel this year all around is a no go for me.

Hysterical. And your follow up with the Lange was priceless.

I dig the 5726 but with 2 Nautilus in the lineup this is not moving me enough to make that call.

The green 5168 is a massive no. It’s pukey. If I’m feeling green it would be the 116610LV

The 5212 Calatravais nice but it’s a no for me.
