I just bought my 1st ever rolex yesterday. It's TT, datejust, 36mm, jubilee and brand new from AD.

All the locking and unlocking everday, i feel like surely over time this will wore out.

Thanks.. i mean when you lock the bracelet when wearing your watch and unlock it to remove it.. doing this everyday for years.. wil that wore out?

You bet. Any mechanism will wear from use. But I think it will last for you and your heirs before its no longer usable if it is not damaged.

It will last your lifetime for sure!
RSC adjusts all those fine points when the watch goes in for service, so even if you wait 30 years to send it in, it will still function just fine.

I actually have a question on this RSC.. after 5 yrs, it's not free to bring to RSC for checking it right? Also how often should i bring to RSC just for regular checking..

My year 1987 OPD has gone 33 years now and no clasp-snap looseness. Not to worry! And as stated, adjustment can be done as needed.

My oldest Rolex was 30+ years old before I decided to sell it. I was the second owner and only serviced once. It was amazing to me that there were no clasp issues. Now .. that bracelet stretch..

that's another story.

A warranty is not a free maintenance plan.

A warranty is for manufacturing defects. If you take your watch to an RSC for something broken, or regular wear, it will cost you to fix it.
