She is finally here

Perhaps my first incoming in this forum but certainly not my first watch. I have been trying get this watch for a while but in the region where I live (middle east) it is very hard to get. Very long waiting lists and high premiums in Grey dealers (was offered used one at almost retail price).

On day few months back, I thought to call fp journe boutique in Geneva to ask about it and I was surprised to know that I can be added to the waiting list and will get it in September. I immediately accepted and paid a deposit. Their service is really great and they shipped it for free to my country. Fantastic watch, really beautiful. No photos will do it justice.

The cherry on the cake that it came right after a promotion I recently got at work, so it became a sort of a gift to celebrate the promo.

Here are some photos, please excuse my poor photography skills

Thank you all for the warm feelings.

So, a quick question, I did not have chance to see the straps before buying the watch, so I only selected the colours based on pictures. Now after seeing them in flesh I feel the light blue one is not going very well with the watch. Do you guys agree or I am over reacting?

Very nice. Congrats.

Opinion: the blue strap doesn't seem to match....takes attention away from the watch. The black wears better and looks more elegant.

I tend to agree on the blue strap. It detracts from the elegance of the watch. Your other two straps are perfect IMHO.

Just got mine today too! Love it so far

Personally I like the black strap

It does such crazy things depending on the light...

I strongly recommend the orange strap, it is the one that makes CB another beauty. You can see my IG page @trwatchclub for some pictures.

I think you are right. I'd go with a deep navy blue or black.

Whoa super nice! Love the watch and the extra straps.

I'd have it on the tan strap, as I love blue and brown combo. It makes the watch a little more casual vs black leather, which is more my style.

Thank you all very much for the welcoming comments. It seems buying the blue strap was a mistake. I know the caramel one (this is the official fp journe name for this color) is great but I wanted another alternative for a change so I feel radically different from the other 2 and be able to dress the watch up or down in a wide range. But I feel I did a wrong choice with this light blue strap. Anyway it is not a big deal and thank you all again for the opinions

Why not ask the AD if you could swap the pale blue strap (unused) for an alternative? Even a spare deep blue or black one would be good for the future.

I thought about that but it will be complicated as I live in totally different country and the logistics part will be very complicated.
