What’s a nice watch under 3,500$?

I’m looking for a nice 2nd watch to pair with my Rolex sd4000. Im trying to stick to my budget of 3,500$. Any suggestions? Any brand. Thanks

I don't know what style you are looking for but if its a sports watch Tudor may be the best option here, Pelagos,BB, BB36,BB41, North Flag, etc..

Among new watches, the Speedy Pro (not MSRP but the real price), Pelagos, Black Bay, Seamaster etc are all in that range (and the Sub used to be).

The real winner though is a used Datejust or Tudor Date, I think. They're eminently wearable, dress both up and down, and offer a staggering variety of dial, bezel, and bracelet combinations. They basically top out at around $3500.

Normally I’d say Tudor B.B. but being kind of similar to the SD I’d say a speedy would be a nice compliment to your rolex.

You could source a Speedy in that budget. Tudor as others have mentioned but also Nomos which might give you something a little different from the Rolex/Tudor look.

You could also build an entire collection of vintage Grand Seiko and Seiko Divers for that budget.

BB and Pelagos are both excellent, but doesn't lend much of a range to the existing SD4K.
As the Speedy has been already mentioned, I'm going to go left field and would suggest a nice IWC 3717 or 3777 pilot on a bracelet, ( just because straps are plentiful and cheap, adding the bracelet is not),


something like a Lemania powered Sinn 156 or Tutima Bund chrono,




maybe a grand Seiko SBGE001 GMT, (which can be haggled for around $3500),


or back to Omega, the MKII Speedmaster with racing dial...

That price range, I would probably buy a Tudor (Pelagos or Black Bay) or Seiko SLA017.

but you already have a great diver, so a Omega Speedmaster would make a lot of sense, or if you're going less sporty, an Aqua Terra.

always forget about Nomos. A bit dressy for me but i like their style, great value for money.
