Just tried this on…

… and in person is just amazing. It’s a dark green dial. So beautiful. And having the chrono and also in steel… feels just very special.

Wow, at an AD or PP Boutique? Can’t believe they already have this.

Beautiful…not a fan of that bracelet or any other patek bracelet other than the nautilus however.

Yeah. That’s odd. My SA is a watchmaker and will ask him this.

Boutique. They usually get stuff faster than ADs of course. They also got the green world time chrono. Will ask to see it on my next visit! I gotta leave some stuff for other occasions

Me too of course but it’s still a great bracelet. The clasp works super well and feels reliable. I put my name on the list, because for the price it’s an amazing piece. The dial is lovely.

Design choice for sure.

They made the frame larger than the small date window itself to make it look more in line with the bigger day and month windows to the left and right. The problem is that even the day and month windows themselves have different widths (and fonts, day window is wider than month window), introducing an asymmetry to the watch.

Honestly, I don't even know where to start with this one from a design perspective.

@rolexperfect is so right, great watch.

The dial is great (I was afraid it would be too green). You only notice the color when the light hit the watch.
Bracelet and harmony of the watch was better than expected.
Felt also great on the wrist. But you def. need to have a medium-large wrist size.

I really like the look, but the only thing that I think would bother me is the seconds hand blocking the date in the resting position. I had an old Glashutte Original watch with a 12:00 date position and it was always hard to see the date.

They don’t know how many pieces will Patek send them per year. So I’m assuming though that they won’t send many because of the green color being a bit more exclusive.

It looks awesome. The bracelet looks like it came from Breguet.

the date window has always been like that, even on the 5205, not sure why they wouldn't make the frame cover it completely. hopefully a design decision and not just laziness.

Well I guess the more folks complain about the date frame, the less people stand between me and my getting this watch… so fire away already

Gorgeous piece but not sure of that bracelet and the date window execution is quite unlike Patek and a bit clumsy.

Will look amazing on a strap though!

Wait lists or not would always go for classical chrono, chrono hand over date doesnt make any sense...

Looks really nice. Not 100% sold on the bracelet or PP bracelet's in general, but dial choice is great on the watch.

Was it available at the Boutique? Curious to see how they are handling allocation.

No half link, nor microadjustment possibility is provided in this bracelet? It looks exactly like the old Aquanaut bracelet that makes adjustment possible in 1cm increments.

As an owner of the 5205g which has the same date window, it looks very different in real life vs photos.

The dial portion at the 12 oclock date window protruding within the white gold triming is curved downwards and hardly noticeable if it makes people feel better.

I think the design was intentional as the date numbers are smaller compared to the month and day fonts and it serves to make the date look bigger but not overtly so.
