What material is the Rolex Winding Crown made out of?
Especially the Crown on White Rolesor and Steel models

I'm pretty sure it's gold, but I believe at one point it was capped with gold??

Hopefuly someone with a lot more experience on this will be along shortly.

Winding crowns are marked with the material they are made of except yellow gold, which is obvious..

A Triplock with the 3 dots all the same size are stainless, A larger center dot is White Gold, and if the two outer dots are large it is Platinum..
