Patek Calatrava
About 15 years ago while on a trip to London, my wife bought a Calatrava for me at Herrods.
It is an automatic, two hands (no seconds), gold, with the pebble bezel. It has an alligator band. I can't find the watch on the Patek website. I've still got everything that came with the watch. Any idea what the model would be? |

It's a terrific timepiece, deceptively simple and supremely elegant. Probably the classiest dress watch you'll see, and powered by one of the best movements Patek has produced - the cal 240 with micro rotor. Congrats on having a wife with such great taste! |

Sounds like a 5120, and the bezel is hobnail pattern.

Reference 3992, the predecessor to the 5120, is another possibility. It had a smaller diameter (33mm), a solid caseback with leaf hands. |
