Took it back to the jeweller I bought it from , got a refund on the watch and he’s sending it back to who it came from to be authenticated

Ha!

If they “authenticated” it once already, how are they going to spot anything wrong now?

Please name the jeweller who sold you this watch. It might well serve members to know their identity and this forum has, after all, saved you from an expensive problem.

You owe the jeweller no loyalty.

Exactly correct. The whole thing is a scam!

Glad you got your money back. I do think that jeweler should be identified - but for two reasons.
1) to be careful when buying there.
2) to properly recognize their willingness to refund your money.

What “test” do you do on a serial to determine if it’s “clean”?

Is it Watch Certification Services of America? What database(s) do you pull from when running a search? When you say the “watch comes up clean”, what does that mean?

Yes
I run the COUNTERFEIT BUSTER
I never used to use it, but I recently got duped with a fake - ROLEX - GENUINE movement (fake case)
I broke all my rules - just checked the movement and because it was good - jumped!
CSA had the serial number as fake?
