I just researched the best place for mince pies so I thought not for a second that this was about anything else! Don't think many Europeans would.

I grew up always having stollen during the holidays when I was in NYC and LI. Now I've got to resort to Amazon to score it. It's still delicious toasted and with some butter!!!

Not cool, man...............

Never seen that before, but it looks good. I'm always up for trying new delicacies that we don't normally seen along the Gulf Coast. This summer, I was in Chicago and tried Cheese Blintzens for the first time.

HaHa, My heart dropped about 3 feet! I thought how could that happen so fast?>

However, when one who owns such a prestigious watch, makes a dry attempt at humor, we can surely overlook said behavior and give Mr. Lee a Pass...

Not far from our home is a farm that makes a great mince pie. I've been on a crusade for decades to keep mince part of the holidays. There's always one starting with the November US Holiday Thanksgiving and ending with Christmas. When we lived in the west (Arizona and Oregon) the best we could do was to buy canned mince meat; Mary would make a couple of pies each year.

NYC when growing up there was a strong European influence including an area full of German immigrants with Beer Gardens and a lot of great authentic German food.

I like sweet mince pies but wouldn't mind trying an original traditional mince with meat pie... but hard to find.

Lol! Good one! This "clickbait" got me to take the bait, but I got a good laugh. I've never heard of stollen until this thread but it sounds good. I think I might order one and give it a try. At the very least, your thread helped Amazon make a sale on one more loaf of stollen.
