Genta interview, Nautilus for ladies
I'm sure some have read this before. Really interesting interview with Genta, who seems quite a character.
http://www.veryimportantwatches.com/...g_rules_en.pdf The funny comment I thought Patek owners would enjoy was that he really designed the Nautilus to be a ladies watch. Neat how things evolve. |

Ambiguous writing be darned!
I designed the women's Nautilus. I designed the Nautilus for women. I designed the Nautilus, for women. You're probably right on the correct interpretation. My misinterpretation was more interesting, though. :-) |

Not that any of this is anything but academic, but the plot thickens. The ladies Nautilus was introduced in 1980, discontinued in the 90's, and relaunched in 2009.

Possibly involved originally and at the relaunch since the quote seemed to be in reference to a recent collaboration of 3 years - I wonder what else he was working on over the 3 year period.

Hopefully he didn't get paid for that billboard stamp on the dial on the "anniversary" model.

Can't be for women with those big ears, as no women I know display their's very freely, and it's often a big shock when an attractive woman/movie star suddenly tucks her long hair inadvertently behind an ear and reveals those wing nuts.
