I just got back my 16014 back from service from an independent with a Rolex parts account and I have found that is feeling pretty tight to wind. I am wondering if this is normal or if this is cause for concern. Otherwise the watch is looking great and running pretty well. Thanks for any insight!!

Interesting, mine was too, considerably harder to wind, and the winding comes to a halt after about 20 turns.

Same here. I have a 14270 that was tight to wind to begin with. (Right after 25-30 turns). Sent it in for a service, still the same.

But keeping good time and power reserve.

I have no clue as to what’s wrong bc my 16570 and 14000 from the same-ish years do not have this issue.

I am wondering if it will loosen up and if so after how long. Keeping great time though.

Not an unknown issue, though if it comes to a halt you may have a problem

Some "stiffness" may be resolved by making sure the crown is pulled out to a more "comfortable" position, especially after a service

Several things are going on. Something isnt lubricated properly, the crown wheel spacer is upside down, and most likely your automatic bridge has tight endshakes which is causing a binding effect. The reversors also need to be lubricated in the correct spots. If one or two of these issues are present you will feel rough winding
