Never seen hands like that before and the blue of the dial seems a bit brighter than standard Rolex blue, the lettering looks a bit fuzzy in that pic and the minute track seems of another era.

If its a good watch consider just replacing the dial and hands with known originals. It's getting harder to find good watches than dials these days.

Thanks for the reply guys. Definitely think I pulled the trigger to quick on this.

For what I'm reading on the from a dial on a 16014 should read "t swiss t" (but correct me if I'm wrong. Im still new to this). Hopefully It's not a fake dial.

Can't find any 16014 with that style hands either.

Considering returning it.

Tritium was used until 95 or so yeah. On a DJ the condition of the watch is most important, there are plenty of dials available for it. Don't let a nice watch get away over a funky dial.

No 16014s came originally with lumi dials. All would have been tritium, so this dial and the hands were definitely replaced. (I assume the seller didn't mention this, correct?)

However, as mentioned above, original 16014 DJ dials are fairly easy to find, and correct hands shouldn't be too difficult to track down either.

The good news is that your date wheel looks original!

Yeah, the seller told me they were in original condition.

Where should I go look for hands and dial? Chrono24?
