Awesome DateJust photos!
What do you guys think about Rolex DateJust2 116334 18 White Gold Bezel, Rhodium Dial with Arabic numbers? I got an offer $6400 for a 2011 model, this will be my first Rolex watch so it makes me hesitate to "pull the trigger."
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

It's a matter of personal preferences. I really like the Rhodium dial (I have one my 116324) but I'm not a fan of the Arabic markers, but that's just me.

Wow that diamond MOP, I was thinking of getting one but can't justify it as my first watch, I think it's too flashy to wear in the office

My choice. Wanted something that could be a “one” watch. The datejust can be sporty enough with the smooth bezel and oyster to allow me to wear it to the pool while dressy enough with a suit or business casual as a lawyer. Functionally. The fluted bezel is a little flashy for every day as one of the things I value in an everyday watch is the ability to not scream Rolex/money/attention.

Birth year?

I'd like to get the very same one, but 1983, my wife's birth year.

Yes birth year. Took a bit to find but so
Nice when you have an emotional connection to your watch.

Here's mine, Inherited it from my late father. He got it as a 40th Birthday present from my mum, he also had another for his 50th that my sister has now got.

1998 12603 36mm, purchased new in 1998 by John Pass owner of John Pass Jewelers (Crewe & Newcastle-under-Lyme), Purchased off him in 2002 by my mum, it was last serviced in 2002. Watch is running fine but according to toolwatch app is now running +13spd so obviously needs servicing.

Plan is for it to be sent to RSC Kent sometime this year for servicing and a very light polish, I don't want it to look brand new but want some of the deeper scratches attended to (Mainly ones I Have put on it since I've had it)
