I just love the warm look. Reminds me of the aluminum bezels but on a more modern design.

This is so awesome.

Contact LA watchworks if you want something similar done

Moved it on a while back, after that pic I had the red second hand off the YM fitted.

If I was to redo one I’d have the lugs thinned a bit and I wouldn’t do the red second hand.

Already spoke with Edvi!

Once done - was it any more prone to scratches?

Held up pretty well, to be honest I used it as my daily and sold it on with only a few hairlines on the brushed areas and the insert was spotless.

I like it! This is the first pic I’ve seen of a 114060 that makes me really want one. I think it brings the proportions back into balance, somehow.

Looks good and reminds me of the five digit aluminum bezels. Somewhat unrelated, but I’m curious to know whether RSC would service this watch as I’ve heard that they may refuse to work on watches that have been “tampered with”.

Yes, the bezel was my only reservation of going with a 114060 vs a 14060M, but all the other features of the 114060 won out in the end: Bracelet, maxi dial, and lume.

Now that this creates the feel of the older aluminum bezel and takes the "shine" off it - makes the 114060 perfect for my desires.

Some say yes, some say no as the case isn't cracked or anything internal changed. If it's a deal breaker not a big deal as I'd just send it to LAWW or Nesbits for service when needed.

Also to add to my above comment with the same case finish inc the thinned lugs i’d fit the YM ceramic bezel insert opposed to refinishing the Sub one as the polish/matte bezel contrast would tie into the dial better IMO.

Does the ceramic still retain the platinum fill, or was it repainted?

It’s understanding that they fill up the hash marks and numerals with something and do a light media blast on the black area. It keeps the platinum.

It’s still got a nice satin look (think 14060) as they only take the gloss off.

Outstanding! The insert balances well with the brushed bracelet.

If only they had a way to make a matte dial...

Prefer stock, but that matte bezel sure looks handsome.
