Inner logo rim, are you a fan?

Hello guys,

Which year Rolex watches start to have inner logo rim?
I was looking a few images of anniversary submariner green, it doesn't seem to have inner logo rim. It is not that old as well. Wonder which year of production they start to use it. Does all models equip with logo rim at the same time?

Are you a fan? I do love the little touch. I don't think it is a deal breaker after vintage pieces too.

It was around 2004 Serial F/D on some models the Rolex Rolex Rolex started on the Rehaut ring.Myself not a fan just once the word Rolex on the dial is good enough for me.And with today's lupe mania Rolex watches have become to some little more than alignment points, as all this branding must line up perfectly at the 12 marker if it is supposed to line up with anything.

It's convenient to check SN w/o removing the bracelet.

I dot care either way. You don't notice it. It's much easier to check the SN. Both my Rolexes have it so I guess I like it. The one I had prior didn't but as I said it doesn't matter. I don't notice it.

I like having an easy view of the serial number, but otherwise, with or without ROLEX on the rehaut is ok either way.
