Looks cool and different. Do they remove a layer of ceramic or a coating to achieve that look?

SDC would look even better with a matte bezel.
Love it - nice job as usual from ABC.

Would like to see some pics in natural light.
How did they refinish the insert?

It's aight, I mean as long as you're happy, that's what counts.
I prefer just about every Rolex the way they left the factory, shiny and blingy don't bother me one bit. Although lug holes would be nice on dive watches, that's about the extent of my desires. |

It's freekin awesome period no one can be negative about that beauty - are you having anything else done on it? Did they grind the surface of the ceramic bezel?

Its very cool, and I do like it. Congrats on one of the cooler mods I've seen.
I am curious though...why not just get a NOS 14060 if you didn't want the glossy ceramic bezel? (not being snarky...truly curious) |

Nice work, but wouldn't do that to mine. I like it just the way it is.

I was quite surprised to see scuffs all over the mat black ceramic bezel. To be clear it wasn't scratched, just scuffed, which is still a bit of an issue IMO. OP, watch does look great! Keep us updated on how it holds up. Congrats! |

I like it! Would buy it that way if they offered it. I also dislike the polished case and bracelet sides.

I like it a lot.
I'm just not sure if anyone in Oz could make those changes to mine.

Guess I'll be the only one to descent...
but...the BEAUTY of the ceramic bezel was it's lustrous finish, no? And that it would hold up for generations with that amazing shiny finish unlike ALL the submariners before it. That this was a engineering hallmark! And then....you just paid money to make it look like every single faded bezel insert of all the older submariners before yours... fail IMO....but if you enjoy it... |
