I would like everything to be period correct but my 1680 is just the opposite and still IMPO an awesome piece.

From a collection point of view, I really want all original parts that are period correct. Gives me peace of mind that it will hold a stronger future value.

Does it bother you if your insert is not period correct?
We r talking vintage right? For me period correct is mandatory, otherwise it would look Franken whether it's all original or not. Not to mention it doesn't look vintage if parts r newer.
I blame it on the autoconnect. |

Period correct/original for me. Can't stand thin font service inserts with luminova pearls.
