Bracelet question...

Just wondering if anyone can let me know about the possibility of changing the end links on the USA C&I Rivet bracelet that came on my newly acquired 5513.

Is it possible to swap out the end links that came on the bracelet to 80 end links for a better fit to the case?

If so, I'll begin my search for some 80 end links and a highly qualified watchmaker that can help make the swap!

Many thanks in advance for any advice and/or suggestions!

Regards,

Stevet

I believe the crimped piece (tube) from the end link that crimps on to the last link are different widths for both bracelets therefore they are not interchangeable.

EDIT:

I just measured the tube width on both bracelets where the end links connect to the bracelet. The opening in the last link where the end link tube fits is 7mm for the C&I Oyster, and the opening for the tube on a 9315 Oyster is 10mm therefore the 80 end links will not fit into the opening for the end links on a C&I bracelet - it is 3mm too small. The possibility exists that you could exchange the end link attaching pieces between both sets of end links and see if it fits then.
