at first I thought the insert was a service lumi insert, however, the longer I look at it the more I don't like the 4 in "40"

i'm sure others will be along shortly with their analysis on the insert to give you more concrete advise.

noticed the bracelet looks like a different shade from the lug...just an observation.

Looks like a later insert from 1970s with possibly a replaced pearl (hard to judge the pearl based on the photo).

Lower left lug was polished more than the rest of the case.

Didn’t understand what do you think about the insert, how ever I just asked my dealer to get me mk 3 insert for the watch...

Mark 3 inserts run 2k USD and up. Use watchrecon.com, they also have an alert notification feature.

But as told before, insert is a service replacement. The original one (mark 3) is easy to find, but it's expensive.

I think you need to zoom in a bit with the camera.
Not sure that font is fat enough, but more experienced people than me will chime in.
