at first I thought the insert was a service lumi insert, however, the longer I look at it the more I don't like the 4 in "40"

i'm sure others will be along shortly with their analysis on the insert to give you more concrete advise.

Beautiful watch! I think the insert may be a mid fat font service insert

Looks like a later insert from 1970s with possibly a replaced pearl (hard to judge the pearl based on the photo).

Lower left lug was polished more than the rest of the case.

Congratulations in any case - am sure you bought to wear and enjoy. Best.

Thank you all, it’s my daily watch for now...
Didn’t understand what do you think about the insert, how ever I just asked my dealer to get me mk 3 insert for the watch...
If you think the insert is genuine and relevant for the watch, I’ll appreciate the input

Trying to source an original mk3 insert

Can you please help with the search, I’ve looked here at the for sale section without any success.

What I’m looking for is a genuine mk3 insert for 1680....

Thanks ahead

Mark 3 inserts run 2k USD and up. Use watchrecon.com, they also have an alert notification feature.

Nice! ;)

But as told before, insert is a service replacement. The original one (mark 3) is easy to find, but it's expensive.

So after a little look around

Just found the mk 3 insert in almost mint condition

What do you think:

I think you need to zoom in a bit with the camera.
Not sure that font is fat enough, but more experienced people than me will chime in.

Sorry but in that (small) picture it does not seem a fat font insert.

Look at the message posted by v.lats97nsx to check what your watch needs.
