This is what I would do. I hate selling watches to fund another. I almost always regret it later. Selling a watch because I no longer like it is a different story. But personally I’d rather add now or wait until it was the right time to do so.

I also own both and between the two, would choose the SD43. Although it's larger, it sits much more comfortably on the wrist, in my opinion. Both are great, but between the two, I'd go SD.

No, but you can add and pair it with the BLNR.

I wouldn't but if your contemplating selling your BLNR for it you have probably already fallen out of love with your BLNR.

I would not sell the BLNR. I would add the SD43

BLNR is my favourite steel Rolex - so just add the SD43 when the time is right

Keep BLNR. I love mine. Such a great watch. The scratches on the PCL's is a negative, but it just means your wearing it and enjoying it. Won't ever sell mine.

My BLNR is a keeper and I wouldn’t sell for the SD. Add the SD when the time is right

I'd like to have both as solid sports watches with very distinct complications and looks. That being said, in an imperfect world where a choice were necessary, I'd go for the SD43 for the ultimate robust and well-proportioned dive watch.

I wouldn't sell the BLNR for it, but I certainly would add it.
If I had the choice between the two in a store and didn't already own a Rolex I would probably go SD43. |

If I had the wrist size to pull it off, in a heartbeat-- specifically, the blue/black dial

I had a BLNR and parted with it. I was considering the BLNR again or the SD43. SD43 wasn't on my radar as my AD pulled it out and I tried it on the wrist... The rest was history and left with the SD43 :). BLNR is a classic and is stunning but I prefer the SD43 such a great everyday watch for me.

Ideally, add the SD43
I was looking to purchase the Blnr few years ago.. until I saw one in the sunlight. The blue was tad too bright for my personal taste. So if u r asking what I would do, yeah, I would do the trade. But u should go get a feel for the SD43 and make a decision based on which one sings to u

For me the BLNR doesn’t come close. The SD43 wins in EVERY way

For most people, I believe that the BLNR is a better choice

Better to add, but if you only want one of the two go with the SD43. Thicker? Yes. More versatile? Absolutely. Better bracelet and movement. I have the LN GMT and the SD gets worn about 2x as much. And I love the GMT, just find the SD that much better.
