POEM - Illegal Immigrants


I cross ocean,
poor and broke,

Take bus,
see employment folk.

Nice man
treat me good in there,
Say I need
go see Welfare.

Welfare say,
'You come no more,

We send cash
right to your door.'

Welfare checks,
they make you wealthy,

Medicare
it keep you healthy!

By and by,
Got plenty money,

Thanks to you,
TAXPAYER dummy.

Write to friends
in motherland,

Tell them
'come, fast as you can'

They come in turbans
and Ford trucks,

I buy big house
with welfare bucks.

They come here,
we live together,

More welfare checks,
it gets better!

Fourteen families,
they moving in,

But neighbor's patience
wearing thin.

Finally, white guy
moves away,
. .
I buy his house,
and then I say,

'Find more aliens
for house to rent.'

In my yard
I put a tent.

Send for family
they just trash,
...
But they, too,
draw welfare cash!

Everything is
very good,
Soon we own
whole neighborhood.

We have hobby
it called breeding,

Welfare pay
for baby feeding.

Kids need dentist?
Wife need pills?

We get free!
We got no bills!

TAXPAYER crazy!
He pay all year,
To keep welfare
running here.

We think England, Australia & Canada

darn good place!
Too darn good
for white man race.

If they no like us,
they can scram,
Got lots of room
in Pakistan.

Especially given the tone of the broken English accent used in the poem, it's certainly borderline racist.

But then again, in the countries where we are beset upon by waves of uncontrollable immigration, we're really frikkin sick of it.

But the immigrant isn't the one to blame. No country in the WORLD is expected to have open borders, and any country has the right to control who enters and leaves. So, all your country has to do is control its borders. If it doesn't, then it's not the immigrant's fault -- it's your government's fault, and your government is only bending to the lobbying power of the companies that want cheap, easy labor flooding in.

I'm just saying, point your ire in the right direction.

Right you are. Caucasians make up the highest percentage of welfare recipients in the USA, although assistance to mothers and children in financial need ("welfare") make up less than one percent of the federal budget and less than two percent of state budgets. Native born Americans are four times more likely to be arrested and sent to jail for crimes than immigrants. Many of the things that simplistic minds believe about the problem of immigration simply aren't true and serve only to reinforce fearful bigotry. That said, the influx of people not native to these shores in large numbers can cause a rupture in our economy, and measures must be taken to protect our borders from invasions both human and financial if we are to protect our economy.

True. I posted a picture a a joke in 2006 and was admonished for it because it made fun of a certain class of people and the mod had a family member in that class. We need to step back and stop being so sensitive. Make Canadian jokes all you want, I can laugh at myself!
