Yes. Founded by Heinrich Moser (Swiss national living in Russia I believe) in the early 1800s in St. Petersburg. The company was forced out of Russia during the Red Revolution in 1917.

You know, I agree. This is why I always prefer manual wind, and I wish it was more popular. Thinner movements (no rotating mass adding depth) and you can better see the movement. Also, there's nothing quite like hand winding a watch in the morning.

Many thanks. This is the Endeavour model. The pioneer is the larger, sportier case with larger indices.
