Why in the nine hells are you asking us?! Buy the one you prefer! Neither is more collectible nor should this be an issue!

Not much collectability value from mass produced items. In term of which one to get, that is a personal preference, however, I would say get the first one you can get as you might not get the opportunity to get the second one.

BLRO looks better on jubilee than the BLNR on the same bracelet to my eyes.

Pepsi - personal preference but I’m not a fan of black dialed watches with a half black bezel. The balance is off in my opinion.

BLNR bezel has a 5 year head start on blro, so blro will be more scarce for awhile

That said unless you’re buying from grey dealer, I’d take whatever my AD can give me

Well I would say go with the one YOU prefer. But since it sounds like you dont have a preference (hence the question to all of us) maybe just go with the one you can get your hands on first.

I agree with this, but I would prefer the original BLNR with the oyster bracelet.

Well the newest and coolest is the jubilee BLNR! Go for that one! Who wants a watch that’s a year old!? That’s like having an iPhone that was released last year!

(Just saying that so that hopefully I can buy the BLRO myself )

The more collectible watch will be the one you don’t purchase

No one knows which one is or will be more collectable. If I was choosing between the two I'd go for BLRO, I just think it looks better. I think buying with the mentality "it is more collectible" is stupid. Back in the days, Daytonas were not liked at all. Now look at those old Daytonas (and hell, new ones). Maybe Rolex floods the marker with new BLNR, since it is also meant to replace LN. Maybe Rolex produces very few BLNRs. Who knows. Buy what you like.

If you're planning to get it from ADs, you have plenty of time (months, years, decades) to contemplate, chance is AD won't let you have both at the same time, so get 1st one you have your hand on, and get whatever comes second.

If you're new to Rolex good luck just getting one from AD.

My thoughts as well. OP, you should go with the watch you prefer, and we can't tell you which one that is. That's up to you. However, if you're really that worried about collectibility, put a picture of each one on a dartboard, and pick whichever one you hit. You'll do just as well as if you followed any predictions here.

Define collectible.

You can collect anything.

Easy...whichever one you prefer! Or you could try and flip a coin and if the result gives you pause then it’s the other you really want. JAT

What I will never understand is why does a man ask strangers what they should like and how to spend their money.
