Rolex 116264

What are your thoughts on the T.O.G 116264. The red hand, date wheel and text make it look great to my eye especially with the charcoal dial.
A real sporty looking overlooked ref?

I think it's a great looking watch. I have a TT Turn-O-Graph with a slate grey dial that I purchased new in 2011. On the model you've depicted, I really like the contrast between the black matte dial and the red accents. I'm hoping that Rolex re-introduces this watch at some point in the future.

does turn-o-graph (hard to see, is that what the red letters say?) means the bezel spins clockwise ad counter-clockwise?

I think they are cool, I like the 5 digit version a little more.

I’ve never seen this reference before. When was this reference introduced / discontinued ?

I was once very interested to get one but once I got my Explorer 2 in black dial - I lost my interest!

The explorer is nice but just not as classy! I’d say explorer for evenings and explorer for the daily!

The TOG is a nice watch. Always thought about getting one in my flipping days but never got round to it. Unusual watch, really cool looking and don’t see many around. Only ever seen 1 in the wild.

Great reference, I feel it’s an up grade to the Datejust. The roulette date and red second hand adds good contrast and makes it sportier. The watch is also perfect for suits and feels great on the wrist. Have a look at the blue dial as well.

Great watch, used to own one but felt a bit small to me. for some reason the numbered bezel makes it looks even smaller than 36 mm dj. I wish Rolex would reintroduce it with a 40 mm case.

Nice watch, had it with both oyster and super jubilee bands, liked it more on the jubilee

TOG is a great watch but the lack of lume is disappointing. I went for a DJ instead.
