Random serial numbers
OK, probably a dumb question, but I see Rolex's listed for sale and they seller states it has a random serial number. Is that a number for a certain year and they are not made in sequence?
Thanks |

Random serials have no year. All Rolex models are now made this way. You have to use other clues to determine the year, the easiest being the warranty card date.

OH thank you. I see why the warranty card is important now, even if the warranty is expired. Thx
