Do you have a watch that you'll have 'til you die?

My 16570 Explorer II was a gift from my staff, and I know I'll have it forever.
I haven't figured out yet who gets it after I'm gone.
Who else has a watch they will definitely own until they die?

The Sub because I won it here and it'll always be special because of that.

The BLRO, because it's just the perfect SS professional reference to me. (I know I've said this about others before but this time I mean it ).

My 14060 Sub, bought new in 1996. Been all around the world with me. So many memories, good and bad, are attached to it. Put simply, it has become a part of my life, with all its dings and scratches! I will never part with it.

I thought it was my BLRO 5-digit, but I'm considering selling it if Rolex releases a ceramic bezel Explorer II at Basel World this year. While I really like the BLRO's look, I have no emotional attachment to it. And I'm not a collector by nature. I'm more of a "buy it and wear it" kind of guy.

I'm also thinking of the future value of this GMT from 2000. Prices have done nothing but rise on this model so perhaps putting it aside in a safe would be a smart move. Might be worth a lot more in 10 years or so.

My Cartier Roadster XL Chronograph. I talked a lot about this watch but never pulled the trigger. My wife ended up surprising me with it one day...love her for that.

Probably not as I find myself having watch-ADHD and I tend to buy and sell often.
But I hope that I will always have a Sky-Dweller, for me it is the most versatile watch out there

This one will stay with me. The original version was given to the astronauts in Houston in 1969. I was born in 1969 in Houston. Plus it’s pretty cool and my wife and daughter asked me to never sell it.

I think my ceramic ss black submariner or my tt datejust ii, both seem like keepers. Although I'd consider selling to upgrade to a newer model in the future as I like the 6 digit subs better then the 5 digit submariners and who knows what they may improve/change on future models.
