Tudor Pelagos warranty card

I know this isn't the the coveted Rolex but it's what I can afford right now. Still a very nice watch in my opinion.

I've found a second hand Pelagos and negotiations are over. Looking back at the ad, there is no warranty card with it. This is from an establishment that has been in business for a long time and offers their own 12 month warranty. However, they are not a Rolex/Tudor dealer... How much (if any) does the missing warranty card affect value? I normally am not worried about retaining value as much but I'm not 100% sure I will like the titanium watch so I am trying to make sure I keep in line.

Also, will RSC refuse to service without a warranty card?

For what its worth, this is the new "5-liner" in house movement version.

Thanks for the advice in advance!

the Pelagos is a wonderful watch, and the warrranty card is only important until the end of that warranty. I personally wouldn’t buy that watch without it being a full set, there are plenty on the market and you should be able to find one with all the bits for a good price.

cheers from Raleigh.

This is good advice. You want the warranty card if something goes wrong with the watch and that does happen from time to time. Also helps your value in case you ever decide to move it on.

Don't sell the Pelagos short! It's a great watch that gives Rolex a run for its money. I'm eyeing the LHD and I have watches that cost over 10x the price of a pelagos

If your purchase price reflected the fact that the warranty card was missing, and you are sure if authenticity, no issue. There are a ton of these, and they are great watches, just buy it smart
