Checking in again with my mark 3 flat 4.
Anyone else have one? Not many of these around.
My research so far shows they are all in the F29-F3 range. I’ve seen literally hundreds of Mk 1 and Mk2 flat 4’s but only a handful of Mk 3 flat 4’s.
Lets see them!

Bought (grey market) BNIB and unsticked in 2010, worn daily since, 24/7, never polished. Two saphires, three services, mud, seawater, sand, sweat (not always mine, hello Honey!), doors, walls... Still beautiful.

Amazing, thank you for sharing. Continue a decade more then do a proper photo shoot and tell the stories of all love marks.

Thank you for very informative post

I myself purchased a 16610lv Flat 4 with an olive ( or Bertollio as I think you say in Italy ) bezel directly from AD back in around 2004..

I can get all the original information together if you wish it to your List ?

every information (first 3 serial digit, nation on the warranty, and month/year purchase) is very useful ... along with a pic that will allow to classify insert and dial ... thanks ...

Decided to finally "join" the club, had the hulk twice and tried the new kermit but settled on a minty z-serial that I really love, this one is staying around forever, love the size, love the weight, really a great piece!

The Kermit is special to me. Was my very first Rolex I ever owned. Still have it along with the next two generations.

Looks like every F2-f3 in the list has mark 1 dial….in fact every flat 4 in the list has mark 1 dial…….so you got a real rare one there or a swapped dial at service

The original green submariner 16610LV thread. LV MEMBERS CLUB

Got my M serial last month. Had another one 3 months ago unpolished z serial but it was pretty used, nothing a light polish couldn’t fix, but had a loose clasp that wouldn’t click. That turned me off a lot and returned it. This one is minty. Case unpolished, bracelet lightly polished and great clasp! This one feels worthy of the money I paid. Hasn’t left my wrist since. This is truly a special piece. Here it is next to my first 1989 Rolex.

One my favorite aspects of the LV is the larger hour markers, they make a bigger difference than I would have thought.

Completely agree. Like, for example, I can read them as I get older! Of course my LV never sees the light of day. But the massive lumes on my exii, similarly legible
