Submariner Book

Hi All - I am looking to add to my Rolex book collection; specifically a Submariner-focused book as I would like to learn more about vintage models (well, up to the 14060m).

Does anyone have any recommendations? Many thanks

Mondani are expensive but beautiful and accurate.

I think Mondani do a Submariner book.

I would say though, I bought their book about the Daytona and I’m not sure I would recommend them. The books are well made and the printing is very good, but you really pay for them. There are lots of pictures in the book but I don’t think that there is enough information to justify the cost.

Mondani. You can usually get a big discount on those direct from the publisher, or that used to be the case anyway, either on their site or eBay.

If you want to check it out first and see if you even like it, there are complete high res digital copies of the book online in PDF. Then if you really like it you can buy the print edition.

Rolex Passion Report and Hodinkee are great websites that do deep dives into vintage subs if you like web based reading.

I recommend "Revolution": The Evolution of the Rolex Sport Watch. (2008 Antiquorum Watch Catalog). Might be hard to find and a little expensive but full of great information and photo's.

That is wonderful. Do you know how often these books are re-published for new references?
