Rolex 1655 - Freccione/Steve McQueen

Dear All,
I have this watch...
It 's a "first" serie, S/N: 3,1XX,XXX.
I have a remark from one collector who says that the case is not a case from a first serie...but from the second one.
What do you think?
I attached some pictures.
thank you in advance for your precious help on this.

regards

Doesn't look anything like a Submariner?

Steve Mc Queen never owned a freccione. He had a 5512.
