Leather or Lace? [Daytona 6262]

Ive always preferred my Daytona on its original SS Bracelet...but for a change of pace I installed a new Bulang and Sons leather strap. Which do you prefer?

Great looking watch. I like both. Probably prefer bracelet, but like you, enjoy mixing it up!

Bracelet is always best, IMHO, but that leather band looks fantastic and would be a great way to mix it up.

I really love my 6263 on B&S leather. Then after a few weeks...back on the steel and I think, "Oh, that's perfect". Enjoy, both work really well!

I know some feel it to be sacrilege to place anything but an original bracelet on a vintage Daytona but I have to tell you... it's fun.

If you HAD to choose ONE, then bracelet. But the thing that owning a Panerai has taught me is that there doesn't have to be ONE strap/bracelet. During the first year of Panerai ownership I went on the never-ending quest for the ONE strap that looked the best. After acquiring over 30 straps, I realized that they all look great but have very distinct looks. Variety is awesome. Same is true for Rolex. But that leather strap on, then back to bracelet, then maybe another bracelet or strap... It's all good man.

To me a real advantage of the leather is that I don't have to worry about scratching a bracelet.

Curious to know why you aren't a fan?

I'm evidently in the minority here, but I think it actually looks better on the leather. It balances out the metal of the bezel, imho. Bracelet still looks great though.
