You're only about 10 years off in your timing. Get with the program, man.

hmmm, buying purses....
Unless you know her purse style, i'd stay away from it.

if you really must, go thru her existing collection and note a few things:

Colors. Does she go for black, black brown, beige, OR all colors (red, blue etc)
Size. Large purses/totes or small purses that fit only a few things
Handles. Short ones or the ones that go around the shoulder. how does she wear her purses?
MATERIAL and shape: Leather? is it "stiff" leather or does the purse fold when laid down?

I'm particular about purses. Not sure if everyone is.
So, make sure you can return it, if she doesn't like it.

Good luck and let us know what you got :)

The bag is a good idea for a gift, if you know her choice you can easily purchase bag otherwise you can purchase black or brown bag which is looking good.

best of luck

Question for you...

I have never bought a Rolex before and I want to buy my husband one for his 40th bday as a surprise. I found one I know he showed a friend he liked. It's the gold silver two toned yachtmaster 40mm. I just wanted some female opinions about watch and about using this site.
Thank you

Hi,

wonderful idea!
You might get some better feedback from men, if you create a new thread and post your question there.

It's good that you remembered what he likes.

All in all a pretty good year.

The fact I am posting is pretty cool since the Dr.'s and hospital gave me two days to live in Oct 2016.

So for a dead guy. I had a darn good year.

Cheers to all.

Hey everyone, hey Bas. Hope everyone had a good Xmas and looking forward to New year.

This year sucked a bit work wise, was made redundant but got another job, but I just like whining about it when really was no big deal.

Sold the Porsche a few weeks ago, just wanted something else bit more under the radar. Picked it up today, will post pics tomorrow.

It's too bad you sold your car Wes, I loved it.

What did you end up getting? Did you post pictures in another thread?

Sorry to hear Wes. You're still 'young', I'm sure the future will bring you another Porsche.

Good to hear from you Carl.

Bas, just wanted a change and maybe something a bit more low profile, done the Porsche thing now really.

Audi A3, 2 litre, Quattro. Auto/paddle shift.

We have shoveled lots of snow the past few weeks. We went way up to the north of Lk Huron before Christmas and had to dig out the driveway to get in since no one had been there for awhile. Then at home it seemed like several times a day. Michelle's son did it this morning for us. We are looking forward to seeing some green instead of white

Chemo'd into remission, no cure.

All in all except for the numb feet and back broken in four places. All due to the cancer. I am doing freakin great!

Just happy to be here and to be a part of the team. Make the best of your day everybody. Tomorrow is not guaranteed.

I have been reading a few of the past posts here and seems like a lot of fun was stirred up with the guys chiming in. Too bad the ladies don't visit very often.

DSJ - David.
Just found your family's estate properties and family photos you posted over a decade ago on this thread (page 71, posts 2108-2116). Very awesome! Thank you for sharing.
Enjoying reading here.

Don't see many posts from the ladies who were posting around that time. Sounds like they were super folks.

Yes it would be nice to see more ladies posting. I think some of the language used and some other things is what chased some away years ago. It's been a loss to TRF in general to lose their prospective on things.

Hey Art - it's too bad, really.

Some of the humor is insanely funny, seems like JJ enjoyed 'always' causing a laugh, or laughing at the gals,..... and, ..

....just found the 2007 PC Mag Award of the Year Letter post by 'abigsecret', and she has had no activity since May 2012. That letter was hysterical.

Isn't this thread where you met Michelle?
