I hear you loud and clear.
47mm Pam372 captures the essence of the Panerai brand.
The Pam422 is the modern take on the old classic.

Last week I've picked up new PAM422. This watch hasn't left my wrist since :)
My next watch is SD43 or 116610LV
But the one after next is PAM372. I love the simplicity, nostalgic look and wrist presence!

Ok, I've made a decision. Was seriously considering a 1305 and the 526. Tried on a friend's 526 for a day and it just confirmed I'm not a complication kind of guy. Ruled against the 1305 because I just don't want another dive watch with rotating bezel and I hate the date window on a watch. So, I am definitely going to add a 422 to join my 372.

Man, glad that is off my chest.

Tried both on today. Beautiful watches. The thicker casebook on the 422 makes quite the difference. The 372 felt so much better on my small wrists... If you have bigger wrists you won't go wrong with either...
