This whole things seems ridiculous....and far more trouble then it's worth...Take the money from the insurance company, sell the watch as is, and move on.....There are plenty of Sea Dwellers out there....

Sorry for the VERY delayed reply, I dont get notified if anyone posts on this thread? I got the watch back (without doing the case) its been pressure tested by my local authorised Rolex Dealer and Breitling house and it passed with flying colours. Its in immaculate condition and dont know whether to sell it or not as i been told 'i have too many watches and need to get rid of a couple'! Cheers Tim |

I'm bumping this old thread because it truly is a good read chock full of lessons to all aficionados. I just wish it got posted in the general thread so the uninformed could get a bit wiser.
