Its a G series. No issues with that either as I intend to keep it. Not even seen the LUME yet...... only had it a few hours

Mine on deposit is a G series too... I'm OCD too and hoping that the crown lines up; if not, that's not the end for me. What I really do want is the Blue lume!

Nice watch Nowayman. Your sub has a small ft on depth line as well as a spacing between the 300 m and I see these scripts two different ways with the F vs f can someone explain this?

Very Nice! What other models were you considaring before you made your mind up on the Submariner? You should have saved that for one more week and opened it Christmas morning like I am with my new Milgauss GV. I guess wrapping it may be defeating the purpose of a gift/surprise. Oh well. I just got a G series too and mine lumes blue in pictures but when I look at it, it is really more of an aqua greenish/blue color...
