Odd Jubilee bracelet question -- thanks

Hello experts,

I see the Jubilee 62510H bracelet is available in both the 20mm size (i.e. for the DateJust or GMT) and the 19mm size (i.e. for the Air-King or OP Date). Yet they both appear to be marked the same: "62510H".

My question: Is the actual bracelet the same for both lug sizes, and merely different end links are used for the different watches it's placed on?

It would seem to me that there should be different part numbers for the 19mm and 20mm versions of the Jubilee, if they are indeed different.

Then again -- maybe the "62510H" references the clasp, and not the whole bracelet?

Just curious. Inquiring minds want to know....

Thanks, and cheers,

Dave

You've cracked the code

The link width does differ between the 19 and 20mm sizes...if you look at the lug connection you see that the first link tucks into and between the lugs at a tiny bit, thus the 20mm bracelet wouldn't fit onto the 19mm case and a 19mm bracelet, even with a swapped end piece, would not have that perfect fit demanded by those here on the watch forums.

Take care.

As you see in these 2 extracts from Rolex R8 catalog, most parts are the same (including the clasp). All parts with a (.) or a (..) are common parts.

Some are specifics to 19mm or 20mm, especially the multi-links parts attached to the endlinks, and the endlinks themselves.
